Duane 'Dog' Chapman shares video of late wife Beth singing along to Bruno Mars

Beth Chapman, wife to ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter’ loses battle with cancer

Beth Chapman, who with her husband Duane ‘Dog’ Chapman, starred in the popular reality series ‘Dog the Bounty Hunter,’ died Wednesday in a Honolulu hospital.

Duane “Dog” Chapman is honoring his late wife, Beth, by sharing a side of her fans may not have known existed.

Duane, 66, announced her death on Twitter Wednesday, writing, "It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven. We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side."

Just one day after her death, the “Dog the Bounty Hunter” star took to Twitter again to share a sweet video of his wife performing and singing at what appears to be a karaoke bar.

“People have asked me.. What is something fans do not know about Beth… Here you go,” Chapman wrote in part.

In the video, Beth is seen singing into a microphone and dancing to Bruno Mars’ “Perm” in a restaurant that appears to be mostly empty.

Beth was first diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer in November 2017. She underwent successful surgery, but doctors months later told her the cancer had returned. Although she began chemotherapy in December 2018, Duane told Us Weekly at the time that she wanted to explore alternative therapies instead.

"Beth will not take anything the doctors want to give her. Even the doctor told me he doesn't want her to have seizures if the pain is that bad, but she won't do it," he said. "She takes over-the-counter pain meds. She will not take anything prescription."

Chapman wrote on Instagram in February that she was testing out CBD and THC-based therapies and alleged that chemotherapy was "poison."

In April 2019 she was admitted to a hospital in Hawaii with "serious breathing issues," but recovered.

Then, this last weekend she was rushed to the ER again and placed in a medically induced coma. Sources told TMZ that Chapman was having trouble breathing due to her throat cancer and described the incident as a "choking emergency." Her family, including daughter Bonnie, reportedly traveled to Hawaii to be by her side.

Beth Chapman’s Family Invites the Public to Memorial Service in Hawaii

Two of the daughters of the late Beth Chapman have welcomed fans to say their farewells to the reality star at a public memorial in Honolulu, Hawaii.

“Cecily and Lyssa Chapman invite the public to join the Chapman ‘ohana (family) for a gathering to honor Beth Chapmanʻs life,” the family’s statement reads. “Beth had two homes — Hawai’i and Colorado. ‘I love Hawai’i the most,’ she said, so she will be sent off in true Hawaiian style, with aloha.”

The memorial — which will involve “Hawaiian oli (chant) [and] prayer, followed by a paddle out with family and friends” — will be held at 2 p.m. local time on Saturday, June 29, at Fort DeRussy Beach Park in Waikiki.

The family asks that attendees bring ocean-friendly loose flowers — but no leis, as the strings can harm ocean life — and that they tag social media photos and videos with #alohaoemrsdog. ‘’Oe’ means ‘you’ in Hawaiian,” the family explains. “It is customary to say, ‘Aloha ‘oe’ especially when saying farewell. There is a song by the same name which Hawaiians often sing at the end of a party, funerals, or when people are leaving the islands.”

The statement also confirms that Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman, Beth’s husband of 13 years, is “also finalizing plans for a memorial service in Colorado, and details will be announced shortly.”

Beth died on Wednesday, June 26, four days after she was admitted to a local hospital and placed in a medically induced coma following a two-year battle with throat and lung cancer.

“It’s 5:32 in Hawaii, this is the time she would wake up to go hike Koko Head mountain. Only today, she hiked the stairway to heaven,” Dog tweeted on Wednesday. “We all love you, Beth. See you on the other side.”

He and Beth are also the parents of son Garry, in addition to their children from past relationships.

Rachel Riley: Countdown beauty left stunned by GMB star’s Piers Morgan admission

Rachel Riley, 33, and host of Countdown, Nick Hewer, 75, were joined by Good Morning Britain showbiz reporter, Richard Arnold, on today’s programme.

Richard was in the Dictionary Corner with Susie Dent, and went on to share a story about his ITV co-star, Piers Morgan.

The star said Piers had once completely spoken over a TV package which featured him being blown up.

Richard’s story began after Nick quizzed him: “Richard, who have you been lucky enough to meet this year?”

The Good Morning Britain reporter spilled: “Richard Madden, the man of the moment.

“The bosses at GMB decided they would cast me as a bodyguard and blow me up using the same special effects team as they used when Keeley Hawes’ character was blown up on the stage in character, and Richard rushed to try and saved her.”

He went on: “They took me to a deserted car park, surrounded by the same social effects people, obviously huge duty of care on behalf of ITV.

“I thought if there’s one way I can get a word in edge ways with Piers Morgan it will be if I get blow up on Good Morning Britain, they might actually run the entire VT (video tape).”

But Richard wasn’t pleased with Piers’ behaviour as he continued: “I was blown up, they ran the tape, Piers talked all over it.”

“So a wasted opportunity there,” he added.

Rachel raised her eyebrows at Richard’s story, as she sat and intently listened.

Wile Nick said: “They blew you up in a car park… He (Piers Morgan) will not be put in the shadow will he.

Countdown airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 2.10pm.

Mets Go Ahead in 9th, but Lose on Home Run by Phillies

PHILADELPHIA — Jean Segura had no problem with three water coolers’ being dumped on his head after a big hit off his former teammate.

Segura ripped a three-run, game-winning homer against closer Edwin Diaz moments after Maikel Franco had hit a tying two-run shot off him in the bottom of the ninth inning, and the Philadelphia Phillies beat the Mets, 6-3, on Thursday, completing a four-game sweep.

The Mets’ Todd Frazier hit a go-ahead, two-run homer off Hector Neris with one out in the ninth, but the Phillies rallied in the bottom of the inning — their fourth straight win since utility man Brad Miller brought a bamboo plant into the clubhouse as a good-luck charm.

Diaz (1-5) walked Cesar Hernandez to start, and Franco followed with his third homer of the series. He hit go-ahead two-run homers in each of the first two games. Pinch-hitter Sean Rodriguez walked with one out and advanced to second on Scott Kingery’s hard-hit, bad-hop single off Frazier’s glove at third.

Segura then slammed his 10th homer into the seats in left. He leapt on his way down the first base line, was mobbed by teammates after circling the bases and was showered by sports drinks and water.

“I’ll take 10,” he said. “The guys are having fun, so I’ll take that.”

Segura played for Seattle last season, when Diaz had 57 saves for the Mariners.

“That guy last year was incredible,” Segura said. “The fastball is his best pitch, so when you come to the plate, you look for his fastball.”

It was Philadelphia’s first four-game sweep of the Mets since Aug. 27 to 30, 2007. That season, the Phillies overcame a seven-game deficit with 17 remaining and edged the Mets on the final day of the regular season for the first of five straight National League East titles.

“This one stings the worst because it just happened,” Mets Manager Mickey Callaway said after his team dropped to a season-worst eight games under .500 at 37-45.

Diaz has allowed at least a run in three of his past five appearances, and his E.R.A. ballooned to 4.94. An All-Star closer, Diaz is in his first season since being acquired from Seattle for a package of prospects. He has blown four saves this season, one shy of his career high.

“I was trying the best I could,” Diaz said through an interpreter. “It seems like they were prepared for every pitch. Bad day for me.”

Aaron Nola allowed one hit and struck out 10 batters in seven scoreless innings but did not get a decision. J. D. Hammer (1-0) got two outs for his first career win.

Pitcher Zack Wheeler’s single off Nola leading off the sixth was the Mets’ only hit until Michael Conforto hit a single off Neris with one out in the ninth. Frazier then blasted a 3-2 pitch out to left. Amed Rosario’s run-scoring groundout extended the lead to 3-1.

Bryce Harper crushed a 438-foot homer in the sixth for Philadelphia’s first hit since Kingery had lined a single on Wheeler’s first pitch.

Wheeler gave up one run and two hits, striking out seven in six innings.

Nola, a 2018 All-Star, has allowed one earned run in his last 15 innings and is pitching more like an ace again.

“I’m feeling good,” Nola said. “My body is healthy.”

The Phillies had lost seven in a row and 16 of 22 and had fallen out of first place before the Mets came to town.

“The group is confident, they’re playing easy, and there’s some swagger in that room right now,” Manager Gabe Kapler said.

Willow Smith Shares Her Struggle With Self-Harm & How She Was Able Stop Cutting In Her Early Teens

Willow Smith was extremely candid about her history of self-harm in a new interview. The singer admitted that she doesn’t regret revealing that she used to cut her wrists, because she wants to help others.

Willow Smith, 18, is as real as it gets. During a recent episode of her Facebook Watch show, Red Table Talk, with her mother, Jada Pinkett-Smith, 47, and grandmother Adrienne, 65, Willow admitted for the first time that she used to cut her wrists as teen. That was the first time her mother and grandmother heard the admission. Now, Willow is expanding on her experience with self-harm in a new interview with her Red Table Talk co-hosts.

She was thrust into fame at a young age, and by the time she was 10, Willow had been struggling with the negative side of celebrity, she told People, alongside Jada and Adrienne, who were also present for the interview. All three generations cover the latest issue of People, on newsstands now. After her 2010 hit, “Whip My Hair” brought on even more attention, Willow was completely overwhelmed.

By her early teens, Willow began cutting, which she told the magazine provided her with “a physical release of all the intangible pain that’s happening in your heart and in your mind.” She continued: “I was super young, and I had a dream, but all I really wanted to do was sing and I didn’t equate that with all the business and the stress that ended up coming with it,” Willow explained referencing the time after the fame of “Whip My Hair”. “I was just like, ‘Whoa, this is not the life that I want’.”

By 2012, Willow had shaved her head as a way of going against the grain of fame. “It was the perfect way to rebel,” she said, adding that doing so made her feel more liberated.

As time went on, Willow began to study both science and spirituality, which led her to the revelation that she didn’t need to harm herself. “I was like, ‘This is pointless — my body is a temple,’ and I completely stopped,” she said. “It seemed literally psychotic after a certain point because I had learned to see myself as worthy.”

In a video accompanying the interview, Jada said that while she was “shocked” about her daughter’s admission, she was “so proud of her in that moment.” Jada added that Willow brought “a lot of healing” to their family members. Now, Willow hopes to help others who struggle with self-harm.
