Alesha Dixon has revealed how her "toxic relationships" have "shaped" her into who she is today.
Britain's Got Talent judge Alesha, 42, confessed she was an "idiot" but is "thankful" for where she is today.
Alesha is now married to dancer Azuka Ononye and the couple share two adorable children Azura, seven, and Anaya, two, together.
She was previously married to former So Solid Crew star Harvey from 2005 to 2006, but the couple split after the rapper was unfaithful.
Former Mis-Teeq star Alesha now has a positive outlook on life and said she's learned a lot of lessons throughout the years.
Speaking candidly on Angela Scanlon's Thanks A Million podcast, Alesha revealed: "I do have things where I think, no, I should have made a better choice. I wish I'd made a better choice, particularly with, like, men, you know. I'm not one of these people that's like, 'oh, it was right at the time'.
"No, I was an idiot. And also, I guess the only thing I could be thankful for is that I'm in a place now in a relationship with somebody who I love.
"And I don't think I could be in the healthy relationship I'm in now had I not been through a couple of s****y ones in the past that really shaped me."
Alesha, who recently revealed the "scary" time she "didn't feel in control" of her emotions during her pregnancy, is now a huge advocate for self love and said she has "repaired any sort of toxicity" before falling in love with her now-husband.
She revealed: "There's no way I could have trapped somebody else into my life that had those qualities if I wasn't bringing those to the table myself. And that was a really big lesson to learn, actually.
"So in a way, there is an element of forgiveness towards myself for making some bad choices when I was younger, because actually I wasn't in a healthy state to attract what I necessarily needed at that time."

Alesha added she feels "blessed" to have the life she has now.
"I cannot believe that the girl that came from a small town and took the biggest risk of her life by leaving college and joining a girl group, I can't believe that it actually paid off," she said.
Mum-of-two Alesha added: "Like, I'm so thankful for my life in that respect and the fact that my life choices and taking a risk against all the odds actually paid off."
