“They’re tied up in a mega-money deal with ITV so won’t be appearing on screen but want their production company to push into the market.
“There are endless opportunities for their old formats which could end up being put onto streaming platforms.
“They own the back catalogue to Byker Grove and SMTV so there’s scope to get those back out there for fans on a platform like Netflix.
“Plus there are new and exciting ideas that their teams have come up with that could work really well for the streaming giants.
“Netflix is the obvious target but there is scope for ideas that could work on Apple and Amazon too.
“Ant and Dec’s TV business is hugely lucrative, as well as massively successful, and this could be another huge money spinner for them.”
It comes as ITV announced a big change to this year’s I’m A Celebrity, which the pair host.
Kevin Lygo, ITV’s Director of Television at ITV said: “We announced last week that we were doing all we could to make the series and I’m thrilled that we can bring the show to viewers albeit not in the jungle. We have a great team both on and off screen and I know they will produce a hugely entertaining series.”

I’m A Celebrity to take place in the UK for 2020 series instead of Australia
And, Richard Cowles, Director of Entertainment at ITV Studios said: “We pulled out all the stops to try and make the series happen in Australia. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and despite us looking at many different contingencies, it became apparent that it just wasn’t possible for us to travel and make the show there. However, we are all really excited about a UK version of I’m A Celebrity. While it will certainly be different producing the show from the UK, the same tone and feel will remain.
“Our celebrities will probably have to swap shorts for thermals but they can still look forward to a basic diet of rice and beans and plenty of thrills and surprises along the way”.
