Ashley Cain’s girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee shares heartbreaking new poem dedicated to daughter Azaylia
Ashley Cain's girlfriend Safiyya Vorajee has shared a new poem written for their daughter Azaylia, who tragically died at the weekend.
The 34 year old announced that her and 30 year old former Ex On The Beach star Ashley's baby girl had passed away after fighting leukemia at just eight months old on Sunday.
She has now taken to social media to share the tearjerking poem, written by Instagram account Word Up on the Wall, with her own 1.1million followers.
Titled Angel Azaylia, the poem reads: "Rest in paradise beautiful Angel, princess Azaylia Cain, although you've left this earth, in our hearts you shall remain.
"We're so sorry you had to leave, as you gained your tiny angel wings, but we know that on your arrival, oh the heavens how they'll sing.
"In heavens garden you shall wander, where you shall feel no more pain, where you will wait for Mummy and Daddy, until the day you meet again [sic].
"Like the rarest diamond, an angel in true form, you've touched the world Azaylia, now all of out hearts are torn.
"When we think of you Azaylia, we'll remember the light you gave, how you've encouraged many others, all the awareness you have raised.
"All across the globe, your story has been heard, now you're flying high, soaring with the birds."
The poem ends: "You showed us the meaning of strength, lord knows that you were brave, a legacy you'll leave, so many lives you'll help to save.
"In only eight short months, you showed the world your roar, the fiercest, strongest lion, you will be forevermore."
The poem comes hours after Safiyya admitted "every day is getting harder" following the loss of her baby girl.
Once again taking to Instagram, she wrote: "I would like to take a moment out of my day to thank each and everyone of you for your heart felt messages, amazing videos that you have created for us, poems, candles that have been lit, balloons, music, flowers ect [sic].
"It's so beautiful. Everyday is getting harder but Azaylia taught me strength, and courage which she held 100% now I need to make her proud and do the same [sic]."
Remembering Azaylia Cain
Safiyya continued: "I no your looking down on me [sic]," alongside emojis of an angel and an orange love heart.
A special thank you to beautiful Azaylia for teaching all of us the true meaning of life. I'm honoured to be your mummy.
"Enjoy paradise baby & your new angel wings. Na night Baba," she finished alongside more orange heart emojis.
