Billie Shepherd celebrates daughter Nellys ninth birthday as she shares loving tribute

Billie Shepherd has gushed over her "funny, thoughtful and loving" nine-year-old daughter Nelly in an Instagram birthday post.

Next to three smiley shots, the former TOWIE star, 33, wrote on Sunday: "Happy 9th Birthday to our beautiful daughter Nelly. Our first born is 9 today We are so proud of you our little lady you are funny, kind, thoughtful and loving with the biggest heart, you are the best big sister.

"You make us laugh every day, I always say you have been here before we love you so much you are one of kind my crazy horsey chick, never change I am the proudest mummy in the world we can’t wait to celebrate with you love you darling xxxx."

Echoing the love was Nelly's auntie Samantha Faiers, who commented: "Happy birthday my beautiful girl I love you so much x x x x have the best weekend."

"Wishing you a fantastic day filled with joy and laughter. You bring so much happiness to everyone's lives. Enjoy your special day to the fullest!" and "Oh Nelly Happy, Happy birthday darling have a lovely and beautiful birthday," read another couple of special messages.

Lucky Nelly was treated to her own pony named Bambi back in March, so you might say the birthday celebrations have been going on for quite some time.

Billie wrote on social media at the time: "Welcome to the Shepherd family Bambi. Today we made our little ladies dreams come true.

"Horse riding has become one of the biggest parts of Nelly’s life, she has learnt so much over the past few years and become more confident, and most importantly made the most wonderful friends.

"She loves every part of it! Including mucking out in the freezing cold. I am so proud of her. Watching her fulfil her passion is just the best! We can’t wait to watch Nelly and beautiful Bambi make the best memories together."

The reality TV personality welcomed her third child earlier this year, a girl named Margot.

Quizzed by OK! on how she'd been coping with the inevitable sleep deprivation, Billie revealed: "It depends, some nights she has good nights, some nights are bad. There’s no great sleeping pattern through the night.

“Some days I’m fine, and then others I’m like a zombie," she went on to admit. "What I really struggle with is if I have loads of questions thrown at me, or I’m trying to organise plans, I really struggle to concentrate on one thing. It’s like brain fog. I didn’t have that with Nelly and [son] Arthur and I think it could be something hormonal as well. It’s a mixture, because my life is quite full on."

Billie also mournfully shared: "Already I feel like that tiny newborn stage has gone. That was something I found hard in a way, because you don’t want to miss anything. I love the baby stage and because she is probably going to be my last baby, I don’t want her to get big too [quickly]. Time does go so quickly."
