Billy Brown’s family brand Love Island villa ‘toxic’ as he’s dumped from ITV2 show

Billy Brown’s family called for the Love Island star to be sent home from the “toxic” villa after he had an explosive argument with Danica Taylor.

Billy was one of the boys to join the girls at Casa Amor and was brought back to the villa by Tasha Ghouri. However, the blonde beauty went on to reconcile with Andrew Le Page, leaving Billy single.

Billy and Danica, 21, then decided to explore their connection before he went on to admit that he felt that they “hadn’t clicked”, despite having got steamy under the sheets the night before.

This sparked a heated reaction for the villa’s girls, with Danica going on to confront Billy and branding him a “pig”.

In the wake of the row, Billy’s family took to his social media page to address the incident, and called for him to come home from the “mad toxic villa”.

They penned: “My thoughts/opinion on last night's episode…

"First of all double standards is a thing. I feel Billy was probably put off from Danica's behaviour after the Snog, Marry, Pie game as she took it too seriously. It's a game.

"After this, he called it a day, and they both maturely dealt with it and moved on."

The statement went on: "Adam [Collard] tells the girls about the bedroom antics, Ekin-Su [Cülcüloğlu] joins in to stir it up even more and makes out like Bill has done something the boys and girls haven't been doing every morning since the show started.

"And didn't Danica tell the girls about it too? Oh yeah."

Billy’s family’s wishes went on to be granted on Wednesday night’s episode as he was voted off by his fellow Islanders.

He, Dami Hope, Danica and Summer Bowte found themselves in the bottom four after they received the least votes for ‘favourite’ by the public.

Summer joined Billy in exiting the villa.

Billy’s family isn’t the only one to have spoken out via social media of late, Luca Bish’s family recently issued an apology on his behalf following his “insensitive” reaction to Movie Night.

The statement read: "I want to apologise on behalf of Luca for his insensitive reaction on last night's episode. I know that when he watches it back, he will be embarrassed and deeply apologetic.

"We as his family don't condone his behaviour last night, but we do understand he is in an intense environment where his emotions are heightened. Last night was not reflective of the boy we all know and love at home."

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
