Christine McGuinness addresses fans concern over weight loss: Its been difficult

Former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine McGuiness has spoken out after many fans shared their concern over her recent weight loss.

Christine, who split from husband Paddy earlier this year, took to her Instagram Story to reassure her fans that she is "happy and healthy" despite a "difficult few months."

The mum-of-three shared some screenshots of messages she's received, adding: "Just a small amount of messages I received yesterday. It's no secret these last few months have been difficult but please be assured I am happy and healthy.

"I'm not trying to lose weight, I don't want to lose weight. I am trying my best." She ended her message with red love heart emoji.

Christine, 34, was left devastated by the breakdown of her marriage this summer, but is finally adjusting to single life following her split from her TV star husband, Paddy.

She has said that while it was tough to begin with she is now “buzzing” about her future and finally feels “inspired” by life.

At the end of October she wrote on her Instagram story, “I feel so inspired – all my worries and anxieties about life have just really calmed down and I’m made up. I’m buzzing for life; I feel so happy.”

She then posted an inspirational quote from Mary J Blige’s 2022 Billboard Awards speech, saying, “For so long I was searching for a real love and I have finally found my real love – and that real love is me.”

Speaking to OK! a source close to Christine and Paddy said: "Christine has had some much-needed downtime with her kids during half-term, where she’s been focusing on her work and some special projects, which she’ll announce soon."

"She’s more in demand than ever and that’s really boosted her confidence."

After the success of their NTA-nominated BBC documentary, Paddy And Christine McGuinness: Our Family And Autism , the Blackpool-born star is also now focusing on more TV work.

“She’s got exciting things coming up, like her documentary [Christine McGuinness: The Secret World Of Autistic Women And Girls ],” the source said. “It’s an exciting time for her.”

While their documentary was nominated for an NTA, Paddy didn't attend the ceremony, with a source, at the time, saying: "Paddy is staying away and focusing on work, letting Christine bask in the glory of being nominated for the doc, which meant so much to her.

“If they both showed up there would be too much focus on their relationship and they want to be respectful.”
