Christine McGuinness breaks silence over solo holiday without husband Paddy
Christine McGuinness "followed her heart" after jetting away on holiday without husband Paddy McGuinness.
The model, 34, returned from a sunny holiday in Croatia with a group of friends, saying she felt “blessed” to have made “memories for life”.
Posting a gallery of holiday snaps, the star wrote: “I followed my heart and it led me to Croatia" with a heart emoji.
“Memories for life, I’m feeling very lucky, so blessed. I’ve laughed sooo much, relaxed and switched off like never before!
“I definitely won’t be leaving it another 3 years before I catch my next flight #GirlsTrip #WhereToNext #HomeTime #Croatia #Split #Krka."
Among the photos shared by the star included a photo of Christine smiling on the runway at the airport wearing a black crop top and jogging bottoms, a photo of the bikini-clad star relaxing by the pool and one of Christine and friends enjoying an evening meal al fresco.
“Well done Christine you deserved that break and time to yourself,” one fan wrote in the comments.
Another follower put: “You deserve it. Beautiful Mummies need a bit of me time”.
While a third person added: “Bet the family will be so be pleased to see you, but we all need to switch off and re- charge.”
Christine shares three children with husband Paddy McGuinness, who she married in 2011.
The couple share twins Penelope and Leo, eight, and youngest daughter Felicity, six.
It comes after the star opened up about her autism diagnosis, explaining that growing up she would often struggle in large social situations and tended to keep herself to herself as a result.
Christine, similarly to her three children, has been diagnosed with autism, and told OK! In January that she had suspected the diagnosis for a while.
"I really struggled to fit in, I struggled socially. I didn’t ever really make any good friendships," Christine previously shared.
But her desire to get out more and be more socialwas something she did "for her kids."

Christine shared with us: "Understanding autism gave me a kick up the bum to do something. I was very reclusive.
"I spent loads of time indoors avoiding everyone and I was never very social. It was only once the twins got diagnosed with autism I started to realise I could be autistic myself because of the social side of things and I thought I don't want my children to grow up and stay in the comfort zone forever.
"You need a push now and again within reason.”
