Coronation Street’s Andy Whyment jokes about flying to Dubai in economy class after I’m A Celeb success

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star Andy Whyment ditched his luxury lifestyle after the jungle to head off for a family holiday to Dubai while flying in economy.

The Coronation Street star joked that he's “gone back to normality” as he prepares for a break with his wife Nichola Willis and their two children.

Andy, who was a runner-up in the jungle earlier this month, took to social media to share an adorable snap of himself and his family preparing for their flight while raising a glass to the trip.

Beaming for the camera, the soap star, 38, held up a pint of beer before joking about his normal lifestyle.

“Pre flight drinks, after flying Business class to and from Australia back to normality in Economy for our flight to Dubai,” Andy wrote.

“Can’t wait to get in the @msccruisesofficial Bellissima tomorrow though for a weeks cruise around the UAE for New Year.”

Andy later shared a snap of himself with his daughter Hollie, eight, and son Thomas, 10, seated on the plane as they prepare for take off.

It comes after the TV star returned to work on Coronation Street after his jungle stint.

After coming in second place on I'm a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Andy revealed his happiness at being back on the set of the Manchester soap – and told fans that he was delighted to have gotten a free haircut upon his return.

Andy shared a snap of himself getting a trim and was gleeful about saving £6 on a trip to his regular barbers.

Andy wrote on Instagram: “'First day back @coronationstreet after @imacelebrity and got a free hair cut from @corriemakeup.

“'Even better than the £6 I pay my barber. really glad to be back doing my proper job.”

He also shared a beaming selfie as he stood on the cobbles in front of The Rovers Return Inn.

His I’m A Celeb campmates wished him well with his return to his acting job, as Nadine Coyle wrote: “Send our love to Nick & the kids!!! Xx.”

Myles Stephenson commented: “He’s back”, while Adele Roberts said: “Yes Andy!”
