Cory Booker and Rosario Dawson cuddle up at Los Angeles film premiere
After missing key moments on boyfriend Cory Booker’s presidential campaign trail, Rosario Dawson and the White House hopeful spent some quality time together Wednesday night.
The couple attended the Los Angeles premiere and global screening launch of Dawson’s new film “The Need to Grow,” a documentary assessing the state of the environment while providing “real world solutions,” according to the film’s website.
Though Dawson confirmed her relationship with the New Jersey senator back in March, the actress’ busy work schedule has prevented her from attending several events with her vegan partner, including his first two debates and a Manhattan fundraiser in August. Dawson did show up to support her man during last month’s “Women for Cory” event held in Montclair, New Jersey.
“She and I are not trying to put this through a political lens. We’re just two people in love trying to build a great relationship every single day,” Booker said during an April interview with “Good Day New York.” “Because I’ll tell you what — in my best case scenario, I get elected to president, I serve two terms. That’s just 10 years … nine years of my life. What I’m trying to create with Rosario is something that’ll last forever.”
