Jason Donovan has been seen for the first time since withdrawing from ITV's popular Dancing On Ice show.

The former Neighbours actor walked down the street in a navy blue and orange padded winter jacket alongside a pair of black jogging bottoms.

The 52 year old teamed the look with white trainers and wore a black and white cap on his head with the popular game Fortnite's title emblazoned on the front.

Jason appeared downcast and sombre as he went for a stroll in North London on Monday, 22 February.

The same day, the TV personality was forced to quit Dancing On Ice after sustaining a back injury, despite the break he took from live shows.

An ITV spokesperson shared the news in a statement which read: “Jason Donovan has brought us so much joy with his performances on Dancing On Ice – from Priscilla through to the tango.

“Our thanks go to Jason and his partner Alex for being so wonderful and committed to the series. We’re sorry to see them leave and we wish Jason a speedy recovery.”

Meanwhile, actor Jason previously said in a statement that he expected to return.

He said last week: “I’ve had back pain the past couple of days and I'm under doctor's orders to take it easy and sit this week out.

“I’m resting up, I'll be watching from home and cheering everyone on and I look forward to returning next week.“

Now, a source has claimed the latest revelation will be a fresh blow for the show, which has seen four other celebs forced to leave prematurely. They said: “It's just utter carnage this year.
