Dead & Company Grosses Over $200 Million In Four Years Of Touring
Dead & Company has grossed more than $200 million since the band’s 2015 debut, according to Billboard.
Billboard said the band has grossed $205.5 million and sold 2.18 million tickets across 120 reported shows.
The six-member ensemble added $29.8 million from 12 shows, taking their summer trek total collection to $40.9 million from 486,917 tickets.
The two-day shows held at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on June 14 and 15 grossed $7.1 million from 72,851 tickets. This is a new record for Dead & Company’s biggest earner.
The last time the band performed at the same venue, during June 30-July 1, 2017, the band grossed $6.4 million.
The more than $40 million gate collection is Dead & Company’s biggest income from any tour it made since its formation four years ago, Billboard Boxscore reports.
Dead & Company is a band consisting of former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir (guitar), Mickey Hart (drums), and Bill Kreutzmann (drums), along with John Mayer (guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass/drums), and Jeff Chimenti (keyboards).
