Fans surprised to see Kevin Durant getting in an Uber
New Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant was spotted at 1 a.m. Sunday arriving at Little Sister lounge — at the Moxy East Village hotel.
Sources said the fashion plate NBA great was, “wearing a Dior blanket as a coat, over a T-shirt and jeans.” He was with his business partner Rich Kleiman, marketing whiz Steve Stoute and club king Richie Akiva.
The group headed out at 2 a.m., and some fans on the street were surprised to see Durant catch an Uber XL.
Said a gobsmacked bystander, “At 6-foot-10, you’d think he’d be in a Suburban, not a Toyota SUV.” Plus, “in a blanket!”
Durant formerly played for less-chilly Golden State in California.
The Post reported over the weekend that the Nets are eyeing Durant’s Golden State backup, Alfonzo McKinnie.
