Fern Britton says ‘no one’s going to see me undressed again’ in dating insight

Fern Britton has lifted the life on her dating life following her split from his Morning chef Phil Vickery after 20 years of marriage back in 2020. 

The ex-Strictly Come Dancing star appears to be having a ball as she enjoys single life in Cornwall, joking that nobody’s going to see her “undressed again”.

She quipped that she’s happy to accept her “droopy” bum and her “boobs landing by her knees” but that she’s not keen on sharing that side of herself with someone else anymore.

While the 66-year-old former Ready, Steady, Cook host has suggested she’s not ready to settle down for just anyone, but that the door to a new relationship is “half” open. 

“I don’t want anything much at all – just somebody who’s there. That would be lovely,” she said in an article published by OK! Magazine. 

Fern has said she doesn’t plan on being with someone who bores her, nor does she want to get married again. 

The star also listed kindness, intelligence, humour and the ability to hold a good conversation as the key traits she’s looking for in a partner. 

Fern told the publication that, for the moment though, her main focus has been on learning who she is without her ex-husband and children by her side.

Since the ITV legend’s kids are all grown up and out of the house, a “whole other world has opened up” now that she is a single woman again.
