Gogglebox favourites Sophie and Pete Sandiford let fans in on their lives growing up as they shared a family photo with great-uncles Barry and Paul Chuckle.

The sofa stars kept the fact they are related to the legendary kids TV entertainers quiet until 2018.

The Blackpool-based duo looked unrecognisable as they were seen in an epic throwback to when they were very young.

The pair, who joined Gogglebox in 2017, shared the shot which showed them as tiny children with their famous family members.

Sophie and Pete were placed on the knee of their dad, who was sat next to smiling Barry and Paul in the background.

Both the telly stars were wearing very flamboyant shirts as they grinned for the camera.

Barry sadly passed away from cancer in 2018, and sad Sophie took to social media to pay tribute to her great-uncle.

She wrote: "A truly lovely and funny man to be around.

"You filled millions of childhoods with laughter and entertainment including mine and Peters.

"You will be sadly missed by many. Rest in peace Uncle Barry. Lots of love from me, to you."

Paul starred on the much loved kids TV show Chucklevision with his late brother Barry from 1987 to 2009.

As well as growing up together, these two are best friends and spend most days together and, away from Gogglebox, Pete and Sophie also have day jobs.

Sophie works as a shop window dresser, while Pete has a job in insurance.

They have a brother called Harry and a younger sister called Lucy, but they have yet to appear on the C4 show alongside them.

Pete said he still can't believe he is a household name.

He said: "We're still gobsmacked that we’re on the show. A woman came up to me saying me and Soph were ace – when people take the time to do that, it means a lot."
