Environmental activist Greta Thunberg, 19, shut down former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate, 36, whose controversial views and misogynistic commentary has resulted in his suspension from several social media platforms in the past. After Tate tagged the Swedish icon on Twitter in a mocking statement about his own carbon emissions, Thunberg did not hold back with her response.
“Hello @GretaThunberg, I have 33 cars,” Tate tweeted yesterday beside a picture of himself with one of the vehicles.
“My Bugatti has a w16 8.0L quad turbo. My TWO Ferrari 812 competizione have 6.5L v12s. This is just the start.
“Please provide your email address so I can send a complete list of my car collection and their respective enormous emissions,” he added antagonistically.
Today, Thunberg issued a scathing reply, writing: “Yes, please do enlighten me. Email me at [email protected]” (sic)
