Jason Derulo 'attacks' men at Vegas hotel after being called Usher

Jason Derulo is handcuffed after getting into fight with two men at Las Vegas hotel when one seemingly confused him with fellow R&B star Usher

Jason Derulo has been filmed having a brawl in Las Vegas after he was referred to as fellow R&B singer Usher.

Video taken in the early hours of Tuesday morning shows the 32-year-old hitmaker launching himself at group of men after one of them yelled, ‘Hey, Usher! F**k you, b***h!’ in his general direction.

According to TMZ’s law enforcement sources, police were called to the Aria hotel soon after the alleged altercation occurred.

Shocking: Jason Derulo punched Las Vegas revellers in the early hours of Tuesday morning after ‘they mocked the singer by calling him fellow R&B star Usher’ 

Moments before the confrontation, Jason was seen heading up an escalator with an apparent bodyguard and another member of his entourage. He had reportedly passed one of the men involved on the way. 

Jason then made his way back down the escalator where one of the unidentified men seemed to mistake him for Usher.

Eyewitnesses claimed that Derulo was so angered by the misnomer that he punched one of the men ‘right in the face.’

Others went on to allege that Jason ‘slapped the second guy moments later’ and that security had to break up the scuffle.

Angered: Eyewitnesses claimed to the outlet that Derulo was so angered by the misnomer that he ‘punched’ one of the men ‘right in the face’

The video shows Jason – donning a red flannel shirt – on the floor with one of the men, while a security guard attempted to breakup the tussle.

According to The Blast, Derulo was ‘led away in handcuffs away from the scene’ by the Las Vegas Police Department and that he had since ‘been released from police custody.’

The two men involved, as of now, reportedly did not want to press charges against the Wiggle singer though Nevada’s statute of limitations on misdemeanors is one year.

Their sources claimed that the ‘injuries’ reportedly sustained by the men ‘didn’t require any hospital visits, even though the 2 guys appeared to spill some blood from facial wounds.’ 

The singer has yet to publicly address the brawl.

Derulo does not have a reputation for fighting and has been focused on fatherhood since the birth of his seven-month-old son Jason King.

He shares his son with ex Jena Frumes, 28, whom he split from in September after over a year of dating. 

Jason broke the news of the split on Twitter, writing to his fans, ‘Jena and I have decided to part ways. She is an amazing mother but we feel being apart at this time will allow us to be the best versions of ourselves and the best parents we could be. Pls respect our privacy in this time.’

The duo have not let their split stop them from amicably co-parenting their son.
