Kate Middleton and Prince William attend intimate christening of sister Pippas new baby

Kate Middleton andPrince William attended the christening of sisterPippa’s new baby Rose, according to reports.

Pippa’s third child with financier husbandJames Matthews was reportedly baptised at their local village church in Berkshire this week.

Pippa, 39, also shares two older children with 47 year old James – Arthur, four, and Grace, one.

The Prince and Princess of Wales have been extremely busy of late. This week, theroyal couplevisited Wales for St David’s Day – launching a collaboration between their foundation and local community groups tocreate therapy allotments and gardens offering mental health support.

Meanwhile, Kate, 41, has been working hard tolaunch her Shaping Us campaign aimed at highlighting the significance of the formative years of a child’s life.

But she and William, 40, still found time to go to seven month old Rose’s intimate christening this week.

A source told theDaily Mail: “Prince William and Catherine both attended the service.”

Rose is the sixth grandchild of Princess Kate’s parents Carole and Mike Middleton, who are also grandparents to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Earlier this month, Pippa and her family spent timesoaking up the sun in St Barts.

Pippa has showcased her toned figurein a number of stunning swimsuits during the family trip, with the mum-of-three looking incredible as she strode across the beach holding Rose, who was born in the summer of 2022.

The Caribbean island of St Barts is a regular holiday destination for Pippa and James as his parents, David and Jane Matthews, own the Eden Rock resort.

The Matthews relocated to the island in 1995 after purchasing Eden Rock from Rémy de Haenen.

The resort is one of the region's most exclusive hotels and has hosted the likes of Elton John, Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio over the years.

It boasts a five-star rating with certain rooms at the hotel costing $30,000 per night.

Pippa gave birth to Rose last year after first sparking pregnancy rumours at the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in early June 2022.

The mum-of-three is believed to have given birth at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in London – the same place where her older sister Kate gave birth to her three children.

She and James welcomed their first child Arthur Michael William in 2018, one year after they tied the knot in St Mark's Church at Englefield Estate, Berkshire. In 2021, Pippa and James' first daughter Grace Elizabeth Jane was born.

Shortly after news broke of Rose's birth in 2022, it was revealed that Pippa and James had decided to leave London behind and relocate to the Berkshire village of Bucklebury, not far from Pippa's parents Carole and Michael.

Their swanky new£15 million Georgian mansion is reported to have 30 rooms and approximately 150 acres of land, and the property is not thought to have been on the general market with the sale being carried out privately.
