Kate Middleton Wears a White Shalwar Kameez by Gul Ahmed on Arrival in Lahore
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge touched down in Lahore Thursday morning to kick off the fourth day of their royal tour of Pakistan.
Prince William and Kate Middleton were greeted at the airport by Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar and Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, each of whom are scheduled to meet with the royal couple during their time in Lahore today.
The Duke and Duchess were given a truly regal welcome at the Lahore airport, where fans literally rolled out a red carpet for their arrival.
Kate looked stunning (as always) in a white traditional shalwar kameez by Gul AHMED and a shawl by Maheem Khan, according to the Daily Mail‘s royal correspondent, Rebecca English, who was in Lahore to witness the royals’ arrival.
Emily Andrews of The Sun also commented on Kate’s ensemble on Twitter, writing, “Duchess of Cambridge wearing another shalwar kameez, today’s is by Gul Ahmed and her shawl by @Maheenkhanpk. Kate’s dressing on this trip has been spectacular (aside from yesterday before amazing headdress) Nods to Pakistani culture and traditions whilst still retaining her style.”
Kate accessorized the gorgeously-embroidered Gul Ahmed design with a pair of nude heels, a blush-colored clutch, and minimal jewelry—a truly perfect look to start her busy day of engagements in Lahore.
