Katie Price emotionally reveals son Harvey could die if he doesn’t take his medication

Katie Price has revealed that her son Harvey could die if he doesn’t take his medication every single day.

The mother-of-five candidly opened up about her 17-year-old son, explaining he can make his own food, do the washing up and shower and dress himself.

Harvey, who is blind and suffers from Prader-Willi’s syndrome, appeared in Katie’s latest YouTube channel video alongside his siblings Jett and Bunny as they opened up on their close bond.

During the video Katie revealed that teenager Harvey lives in residential care from Monday to Friday.

She told viewers: "My son, Harvey Price, he was born blind, he's on the autistic spectrum, he's got Prader-Willi's, tick disorder, ADHD, opposite deficit disorder and there's a lot more.

"He's on medication six times a day a day and if he doesn't take his medication he will unfortunately pass away."

Katie added: "I have never ever put Harvey into care but at his school they do residential Monday to Friday.

"He is in residential as it's safer for him. He loves it there and it's the best thing for him and me. I get him every weekend and holiday and I visit him in the week."

Harvey then makes an appearance, where he tells the camera: “Hi everyone, I feel happy. Mummy's here, mummy cuddles and kisses make me happy, yes mum."

The video comes after Katie, 41, candidly opened up on the online bullying both she and her children have faced online.

Speaking to new! magazine, Katie said that despite her being “used” to getting abuse online she is determined to protect her children, Harvey, Junior, 14, Princess, 12, Bunny, five, and Jett, four, from the trolls.

Katie said: “When it comes to my children, I will do anything to protect them from it. From what I’ve seen it’s only Harvey who’s been trolled. Princess and Junior haven’t experienced it, thank God, and I know they’d handle themselves if it came to it, but Harvey gets abuse all the time and he needs me to protect him.”

Unfortunately, Katie’s eldest son Harvey, has been the target of trolls and received some appalling abuse on the internet.

Speaking about the type of people who troll Harvey, Katie said she had “done her research” and discovered that those who share the cruel contents are “often grown men”.

She added: “How pathetic is that when he can’t stand up for himself?! It makes me angry that the law doesn’t already consider it a criminal offence. How bad does it have to get?”

Katie was then spurred to create and campaign for Harvey’s Law, which, if passed, would see trolls charged with a criminal offence if they send abuse online.

Katie insisted she’s “not shy” and has “confronted trolls before”. In 2017, a 19 year old man was arrested and let off with a caution after sharing offensive social media posts about Harvey.

She added: “I’d never threaten anyone, but I’m more than happy to name and shame – and they do back down because they’re cowards. I’ve had people arrested, but there’s nothing in place to charge them, which is why I’m pushing for Harvey’s Law.”
