Katie Price is set to return to the spotlight and relaunch her singing career at the Mighty Hoopla festival this weekend.

The 43 year old, who recently offered her terminally ill mum Amy one of her lungs, will be performing on Saturday 4 September at London's Brockwell Park with Love Of Huns & Jayde Adams.

The former glamour model is hoping to bring life back into her pop career after taking a backseat on that side of her hectic life raising five children.

TV personality Katie, who previously sang a duet with her ex-husband Peter Andre in 2006, will be heading out on stage at 3:15 in the afternoon.

Her profile on the festival reads: "Sure to be a Hoopla highlight (we know what’s being planned…) HRH will be joining Love Of Huns and Jayde Adams on stage for An Audience with…Katie Price. “I’ll be on stage being me, The Price.”"

Festival reps confirmed to OK! Online that Katie will be performing her set as scheduled as they said: "Katie Price is still on the lineup and is expected to perform tomorrow with Love Of Huns & Jayde Adams."

Other big names to take the stage on the day will be Cheryl, Gabrielle, Alexandra Burke and Becky Hill.

It comes after Katie recently spoke candidly about the difficulties she has faced while raising her 19 year old son Harvey.

The reality TV star confessed it will be difficult to see him off to college, but knew it was necessary for him to gain independence.

Harvey was born with Prader-Willi syndrome and also has ADHD, autism and septo-optic dysplasia.

Talking in an interview recorded prior to her alleged assault, Katie appeared on the Life, Interrupted podcast with Simon Thomas, where she spoke about how “challenging” it has been looking after Harvey.

She said: "There's lots of obstacles we go through, it's very day to day, I don't think people realise how hard it is, you even have to shout at him to get him dressed.”

"It's just a constant battle, because Harvey is such a lovely boy, that you can have so much fun with him."

Katie also spoke about the search for a college for Harvey to go to that can care for his complex needs. Katie has been worried about Harvey’s ability to cope after he had a taster by moving to a residential home.

She said: "At residential every night he rings and says, 'Mum, I need you, I miss you, I want cuddles.'

"That's why it's going be hard for me and him, because the colleges I've picked are like a good three or four hours away, because they're the best ones for him. He needs this for him and he needs to be independent."
