Kobe Bryant & Wife Vanessa Had Deal to ‘Never Fly on a Helicopter Together’ – Source

Kobe Bryant and wife Vanessa made it a point to never fly in a helicopter together.

As the 41-year-old late Lakers player used helicopters to get around Los Angeles, Kobe and his 37-year-old wife would reportedly “never fly together.”

“He and Vanessa had a deal that they would never fly on a helicopter together,” a source told People.

Kobe and the couple’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna were killed along with seven other people after their helicopter crashed on Sunday morning (January 26) in Calabasas, Calif.

The source also said that Kobe “only” flew in helicopters with pilot Ara Zobayan, who was among those killed in the crash.

Kobe and Gianna are survived by wife and mom Vanessa and daughters/sisters Natalia, 17, Bianka, 3, and Capri, 7 months.
