Lizzo Makes History On Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart

Lizzo has made history by becoming the first woman to replace herself at the top of Billboard‘s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart after “Good As Hell” replaced “Truth Hurts,” which enjoyed a non-consecutive 11-week run at the top.

“Good As Hell” rose 2-1 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart after it moved 5-3 on the all-genre Radio Songs chart. The song logged 85.3 million in audience in the week ended November 17, rising as much as 12% over the preceding week.

The song registered a 12% dip in U.S. clicks at 13.9 million in the week ended November 14, resulting in a 14-16 decline on the R&B/Hip-Hop Streaming Songs chart.

On the Digital Song sales list, “Good As Hell” held on to the top spot for a third straight week, despite seeing an 8% drop in downloads to 13,000 in the week to November 14.

Overall, Lizzo is the 15th artist to oust themselves from the top spot since the chart began in 1958.

Earlier this year, Post Malone replaced himself at the top when his “Wow.” rose to No. 1, replacing “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-verse),” featuring Swae Lee.
