Love Islands AJ Bunker shares heartbreaking reason she had cheek filler removed
She rose to fame on hit reality show Love Island, and now AJ Bunker has shared some of her journey since leaving the island.
Before heading onto the show, AJ, 29, decided to get cheek filler but she has since shared that she regrets doing so.
The former extension technician spoke candidly to OK! about the trolling she received post-show, and how upset she was at people commenting on the filler she'd had.
"When I first came out there was massive trolling over my cheek fillers and looking old and being too old for Love Island and that kind of thing," the beauty shared with us.

She continued: "I still get it now, even though I've had it dissolved.
"Once someone starts a comment and all of that begins, it's never really going to go. When I first came out – I'm not saying I agreed – but I saw the filler was too much, so I saw where the comments came from.
"I was upset because I was upset for myself for doing it and knew it didn't look right, but then you're getting trolled which makes it hard because I knew it didn't look right but I was also constantly being told about it."
AJ explained to OK! that she hadn't initially noticed the filler until she watched herself back on the show.
"When I went in there I didn't see it. It was when I came out and watched myself and just thought 'wow.' I didn't look like myself," she shared.
The gorgeous star admitted it was down to "panic" before the show, and said the short time to get prepared caused her to get filler.
"You have such a short time before you go onto the show. I did all my auditions without that in my face so I know they picked me for me and how I looked.
"But I think before you go in you have the pressure of thinking what might I get picked on for and trolled for, and so you try and pick out imperfections that probably weren't even there."
AJ added: "I think when people watch themselves back and people pick it out you think why did I even do that in the first place.
"People give in to pressure and I think my advice would be to be happy with yourself and don't give in to a pressure to look a certain way. Be confident with who you are."
Love Island stars who've returned to their day jobs since the show including Georgia Townend
AJ is amongst a handful of Love Island stars who've reversed their cosmetic surgeries after the show, including Molly-Mae Hague and Olivia Attwood.
Post-show, AJ says she's having an "amazing" time, and she has gone from one success to the next and inspires her 102,000 Instagram followers with her stylish outfit choices.
"It is fun, you go to amazing events and meet amazing people," AJ shared.

She added: "It is tiring though I can't deny that, and it has an overwhelming side to it as well. What I do find difficult is balancing your personal life you had before and your new life."
The 29 year old also recently headed to Caudwell Children charity to read Grumbalina children’s books, in an act of giving back over the festive period.
Discussing the experience with us, AJ said: "It was honestly so rewarding and amazing.
"I was fortunate to be invited up there to read the Grumbalina books and went up there for the day and spent some time with the children. They were so lovely, and it was an incredible experience.
"Before Love Island, the one thing I said to my best friend is if I can help charities and spread awareness then that's something I'd love to be able to do.
"I'd love to do more with Caudwell and I'd like to help animal charities as well and do anything I can to make an impact and spread awareness. I'd really like to focus on it in the new year."
