MAFS Jenna says her romantic gestures were edited out – including wedding day gift

We were on the edge of our seats throughout the entirety of this year’s Married At First Sight UK . It was a truly dramatic season with plenty of twists and turns.

Unfortunately most of the couples on the show have since gone their separate ways but there’s one duo who’ve powered through, after taking all the advice from experts Paul C Brunson, Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas to heart.

Jenna Robinson and Zoe Clifton were the first lesbian couple to go on the show and are also the only people who came out the other end of this season stronger than ever. They’re now a thriving, fully fledged couple on the outside world. And things are very serious with Jenna telling us: “We’ve said the L word…”

They have had their fair share of ups and downs however, including arguments about veganism and worries over Zoe’s now famous Mr Pickles – a pickled rat she keeps in a jar.

However, in an exclusive interview with OK! Jenna revealed that there was lots of sweet moments in their relationship and that some of her romantic gestures were actually edited out of the show.

“On the morning of the wedding, I had a rose sent to Zoe with a note just being like, ‘Can’t wait to finally see your face, hope you are excited, but a tad nervous like me,’” she says.

“I thought it was quite a nice gesture that, someone who’s femme-presenting, would buy flowers for the more masculine [person] in a lesbian relationship.”

Zoe confirms this saying: “Jenna did loads of romantic things and I did one or two things.”

While the couple aren’t living together yet Jenna confirmed that they are discussing it.

"We have those conversations, but no solid plans," she says. "It’ll happen naturally at the right time. We’ve spoken about two places: Brighton or Manchester. I think Brighton would be the ideal place for both of us.”

The duo are no strangers to Brighton and recently drove fans wild when they shared pictures of themselves looking loved up in the city.

However at the moment they are still getting to know each other with Jenna explaining: "It’s like doing a relationship backwards. We got married, moved in together and once the experiment was over, we went back into normal life. Then we started dating, getting to know each other in our own home environments.”
