Pippa Middleton and Princess Beatrice Accidentally Wore the Exact Same Coat to the Royals' Xmas Event
The royals got in the ~holiday spirit~ yesterday, attending a Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey hosted by Kate Middleton. Aside from the usual royal family members being in attendance (Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice, Zara Tindall, etc), Kate went ahead and invited her entire extended family, too, including her sister Pippa Middleton.
Obviously everyone looked chic and whatnot, but apparently the group didn’t touch base about their looks ahead of time, because Pippa showed up in the exact same coat as Princess Beatrice. Or, maybe they did touch base and this was on purpose, in which case love to see it.
According to the Daily Mail, both Pippa and Beatrice are wearing coats by British brand The Fold, which retails for $955. Pippa wore the jacket in forrest green, pairing it with black tights, black heels, and a pair of emerald earrings:
While Beatrice wore the same coat in camel, pairing it with a red velvet headband and black velvet shoes:
Obviously, they both looked great! And meanwhile, Kate Middleton wore a bright red Catherine Walker coat with a giant bow, which we can all agree is giving Christmas present.
According to Town & Country, the carol service was planned as a way of saying thanks to communities for coming together during the pandemic. Kensington Palace released a statement saying that “The service will provide a moment for the nation to come together and reflect, to think not only of the extraordinary challenges that we have faced, but also to celebrate the acts of kindness that we have witnessed across our nation, the communities pulling together to protect and care for those in need, and those who have stepped up to help others.”
