Following the birth of her son, Cressida penned an open letter, published inThe Sunday Times, in which shediscussed her struggles conceiving.

In the letter she revealed that she'd had difficulty in getting pregnant, and after running out of ideas and answers, turned to IVF, which she admitted initially “frightened” her at the time, as she felt “powerless” in regards to the outcome.

Fortunately for her and her husband, they were successful the first time round in the treatment with their son.

Earlier this year, Cressida revealed that the baby wasnamed after her husband’s late brother in a heartfelt family tribute.

The boy’s full name is Wilbur James Wentworth-Stanley, and sources said it wasin honour of Harry’s late brother, James Wentworth-Stanley, who tragically took his own life in 2006 aged just 21, when he was studying at Newcastle University.

Last month, a glowing Cressida was spotted out walking inNotting Hill with Wilbur strapped to her chest in a baby carrier.

It has been said they shared a lust for life and were snapped together on various occasions, appearing perfectly happy.

However, as rumours of a royal engagement escalated, Cressida was said to have become overwhelmed by the public attention.

And while the relationship may not have worked out, the pair remained on good terms, with Cressida even attending her ex's wedding to Meghan Markle.
