Taylor Swift Specifically Thanks Her New Record Label at AMAs 2019 (Video)
Taylor Swift is making it known that she loves her current record label amid a feud with her former record label.
The 29-year-old singer specifically thanked her new label during an acceptance speech at the 2019 American Music Awards on Sunday (November 24) at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Taylor won the award for Favorite Album – Pop/Rock for Lover.
“This is amazing. That was a really tough category, wow. Thank you to the fans. I would love to have an opportunity to thank the people I made this album with because they’re amazing and we had so much fun,” Taylor said before listing off some names.
“Okay, wow… I did not think I was going to win this one. This album really felt like a new beginning. Also really love my record label, Universal and Republic. Monte Lipman, Lucien Grange, thank you for being so generous to me and allowing me to make whatever music I want to make. As a songwriter it’s so thrilling to me that I get to keep doing that,” she added.
FYI: Taylor is wearing a Julien Macdonald dress, Casadei boots, and Ofira jewelry.
