Woman bewildered by Boohoo vinyl trousers that sound like ‘f******* cellotape’

With Halloween around the corner, Abi Radley decided to start planning her costume for the spooky holiday.

After coming up with an idea, she ordered a £20 pair of black vinyl trousers from online retailer Boohoo to complete the look.

But when they arrived, the 27-year-old, who works as a cosmetic tattooist, said she was left feeling like she was wearing a roll of "f***ing cellotape".

Radley, who lives in Chelmsford, Essex, shared a video of herself trying on the trousers on Facebook much to the amusement of her friends.

In the video, Radley's shiny trousers can be heard making an incredibly loud sticky noise, every time she moves her legs.

The sound is so noisy, it's almost comical.

Alongside the video, she wrote: "Am I missing something here??? I ordered 'black shiny trousers' for Halloween but wtf are these boohoo.com?

"Name me a person who's gonna walk around sounding like a roll of f***ing cellotape?

"What's worse they stick together, I nearly fell over trying to walk."

She then went on to reference an iconic scene from the sitcom Friends, where Ross Geller has to cover his legs in talcum powder after his leather pants shrunk.

"And don't even get me started on trying to get the f***ers off either. I felt like Ross on Friends and nearly had to reach for the talc," she added.

People on social media who saw the clip thought the whole thing was hilarious.

One person commented: "Omg I am crying."

Another said: "Pmsl, sounds like you need baby oil."

A third added: "I'm sure you have some WD40 about."

Speaking today, Abi said: "When they arrived I thought 'what the f*** is this?'.

"I had to push my arm through the leg holes just to prise them apart as they were stuck together.

"It didn't take long to get into them, it was getting them off that was the problem. It took a few panic-stricken minutes. As I began to sweat they just stuck to my feet as I tried to pull them off.

"I don't know how or why they sell them. No one would wear them surely! They are so loud."

She added: "I've had bin bags better quality."
