Billie Eilish shuns glamour for comfy tracksuit at Met Gala afterparty
Kendall Jenner swapped black sequins for sheer silver as she slipped into her afterparty outfit following Monday night’s Met Gala.
All eyes were on the steps of New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art last night as A-listers descended on the venue in support of the charity fundraiser extravaganza.
However, the fashionable moments didn’t stop after the red carpet and extended into the early hours as celebrities partied at Zero Bond.
The 27-year-old model and reality star lead the way in her showstopping silver body suit that left little to the imagination.
Kendall wore a black thong over the top of the sheer material and paired the short number with some strappy black heels and a slicked back hairstyle.
She was joined by her rumoured boyfriend rapper Bad Bunny who emulated casual vibes in a white T-shirt and brown jacket.
Elsewhere singer Billie Eilish, 21, ditched her glamourous black lace dress for a baggy tracksuit as she moved on to the next venue of the evening.
She put on a pair of North Face navy tracksuit bottoms and kept herself warm in a vintage zip-up jacket.
Underneath she sported a New York oversized jersey and white T-shirt while rocking white trainers as well as a baseball cap on top of her black locks.
Actress Florence Pugh, 27, swapped heels for black combat boots and switched out her flowing white ballgown for a pink and black checkered mini-dress.
Gripping the hand of Emily in Paris star Ashley Park, the Don’t Worry Darling actress rounded off her after party attire with an oversized blazer.
Supermodel Cara Delevingne, 30, hit the theme on the head as she mirrored Karl Lagerfeld’s snow-white hair and signature black and white suit at the post-gala event.
Covering her usually blonde mane, the star wore a pixie cut white wig and tied a white colour around her neck that was held in place with a black tie.
She paired biker boots with a black gown that featured a thigh-high slit revealing red satin material on the inside of the garment.
Cara also nodded to Lagerfeld’s black leather gloves by wearing a pair of her own and added dramatic smoky makeup to finalise her ensemble.
The dress code for the 2023 Met Gala was ‘in honour of Karl’ – in tribute to the late fashion designer and former creative director of Chanel who died at the age of 85 in February 2019.
