David Beckham accused of taking credit for Christmas dinner that a chef cooked
David Beckham has been accused of pretending to cook Christmas dinner while a chef did all the work behind him.
His wife Victoria posted a clip of the footballer, 44, enthusiastically carving up a turkey on her Instagram Stories with the caption: ‘Christmas dinner with the Beckhams.’
So far, so festive, right?
Wrong.
A load of gloom merchants spotted what looked like a chef behind old Becks doing some frantic cooking alongside another member of staff.
Now they’ve decided Dave was trying to take the credit for the professional staff’s work.
Whatever happened to Christmas cheer, you miserable folk?
One viewer exclaimed on Twitter: ‘The hilarious thing about David Beckham carving the Turkey for the fam is the chef in the background looking at him likeeee… “you’re carving it wrong mate!!”‘
They added: ‘Oh and he has now deleted the vid because it prob looks snobby and he was doing it badly!’
According to Mirror Online, another asked: ‘Private chef ? Or you think becks cooked it himself.’
Metro.co.uk has contacted David’s representative for comment.
David didn’t seem to be too bothered by #TurkeyGate however, probably because he was busy having the time of his life in the Cotswolds.
The sportsman joined Victoria and their four kids Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 14, and Harper, eight, for some festive fun in the countryside.
He donned matching pyjamas with his sons, opened presents with the clan and generally fawned over the puppy he and Victoria gifted their children.
It is SUCH a hard life.
