Guerlain Celebrates 110 Years of L’Heure Bleu With $15,000 USD Yves Klein-Edition Extract

Guerlain is celebrating 110 years of its iconic L’Heure Bleu with a new perfume extract from its Exceptional Creations series. Joining the estate of nouveau réalisme artist Yves Klein, the inverted heart bottle has been crafted in International Klein Blue (IKB) — a shade of blue patented by Klein in 1960.

Inside the bottle is Guerlain’s L’Heure Bleue which was composed by Jacques Guerlain in 1912. Described as a fragrance of suspended time — that moment when “the night has not yet found its star” — the fragrance is composed of blues of violet and iris and the creamy ivory of vanilla. The extract is the warmest, richest, and most highly concentrated version.

Limited to 30 examples, the 1.5-liter bottle can be found on Guerlain for a price of £13,500 GBP (approximately $15,000 USD).
