Katie Price films herself attempting to have a bath with two broken feet
Katie Price may have broken both feet, but she’s not going to let her injuries from stopping her having a bath.
The former glamour model, 42, broke both of her feet during a freak accident while attempting to jump off a wall during a day out at a theme park in Turkey.
She sustained ‘life-changing’ injuries as a result, with doctors telling Katie it may take six months or more for her to recover.
Taking her recovery in her stride, however, Katie has been seen attempting to get around using kneepads and recently tried to have a bath, documenting the process on Instagram for fans.
She isn’t allowed to get her casts wet and joked it had taken ‘all her core strength’ to keep her legs out of the water, while freshening up.
Katie posted the stages it took to get her in the bath, with the mum-of-five needing a wheelchair and a helping hand to get her into the bathroom.
She was helped into the bath, before filling it up with water, and explained: ‘Got to use my upper body strength to get into the bath, legs up, run the water and CANNOT get my cast wet.’
‘Such a mission to have a bath,’ Katie vented, before sharing a video of her with her legs held in the air as the bath filled up and joking: ‘Well, at least I’m working my core strength.’
Katie’s latest injury update comes after she recently underwent six-hour surgery on her broken feet and ankles.
Following the operation, Katie revealed that more procedures were needed on her feet than first thought, as she told fans she couldn’t sleep from being left in ‘so much pain’.
‘Chelsea Westminster hospital nurses doctors have been amazing and the surgeons totally have my up most RESPECT and absolutely FANTASTIC very professional and have been very honest and straight with me to make me actually sink in my head the seriousness of my injuries MASSIVE THANKYOU,’ she wrote.
Katie also praised boyfriend Carl Woods for looking after her, as she added: ‘And massive Thankyou to @carljwoods for constantly fitting me around his work and being by my side.
