pgLang Officially Announces Its Converse Chuck 70 Hi and Pro Leather Collection

There’s lots going on for the pgLang family as Baby Keem just earned his first GRAMMY award, Kendrick Lamar is on the verge of dropping his highly-anticipated fifth studio album Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers and its newest artist Tanna Leone just released his debut project Sleepy Soldier. And now, the company founded by Dave Free and K. Dot is dipping its toes in to the footwear space by generating a two-piece collaboration with Converse.

For this project, pgLang applies its touch to two of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes — the Chuck 70 Hi and the Pro Leather. From a bird’s eye view, both appear to be styled with very minimal arrangements and allow a creamy tone to guide its visual composition. The lacing system has been reworked with metallic silver D-rings, and this gives the kicks a slightly more premium look. pgLang branding pops up on the medial side of the Chuck 70s and the lateral wall for the Pro Leathers. Exposed stitches show face on both offerings, the high-cut variation of which is styled in a lighter brown while the low-slung pair has blue embroidery.

pgLang for Converse will be available on May 2 via Converse and pgLang. A music video by featuring artists Tanna Leone and Selah Marley will also accompany the release.

In other news, Stüssy’s upcoming Converse Chuck 70 Hi collaboration has surfaced.
