Zenith’s Latest Defy Extreme Double Tourbillon Feature the Most Advanced Movement to Date

The Defy Extreme Double Tourbillon is Zenith’s latest addition to its Defy Extreme line, configured with the watchmaker’s most advanced, high-frequency chronograph movement to date.

Boasting 1/100th of a second chronograph movement, the timepiece beats at an astounding rate of 360,000 VpH, adding exceptional to its unique built performance. Equipped with two independent tourbillon mechanisms that complete rotations in 60 seconds and 5 seconds respectively, its robust and angular case design give the watch a durable, rugged yet futuristic appeal.

Measuring 45mm wide, the Double Tourbillon arrives in two versions — one made of brushed titanium, the other, in a sleek carbon fiber build with an 18-carat rose gold bezel. Both editions are powered by an El Primero 9020 movement with a minimum of 50 hours of power reserve.

The titanium version is priced at $69,600 USD, meanwhile, the carbon fiber edition retails for $79,700 USD. The Defy Extreme Double Tourbillon watches are currently available online and in stores via Zenith and its official retailers.
