Kyle Richards is celebrating one year of being “alcohol free” – and says she’s “never felt better.”

The “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star marked the anniversary by posting a glowing selfie to Instagram Saturday, writing that “a number of things” led to her decision to put down the bottle.

“First and foremost, I didn’t feel it had a place where I personally wanted to be,” Richards, 54, explained.

“I listened to my heart and the message was clear to me. I knew it was no longer serving me (no pun intended) physically, mentally or spiritually.”

The reality star — who has also been making headlines for her marital woes with husband Mauricio Umansky— emphasized the improvement in her physical well-being from quitting alcohol, adding that she’s also enjoyed the newfound mental clarity.

“Alcohol made me feel depressed the next day no matter how fun the night before was.
And honestly, life is going to throw us some difficult days. I certainly don’t need to be adding any extra ones to that list.”

Richards joked that she still does “stupid things” and will “beat [herself] up about it,” but she has also learned that she is “still fun” without drinking.

“I’ve learned that I still over share but at least I don’t have the ‘hanxiety’ thinking about it,” she quipped, referring to a feeling of anxiety typically brought on by a hangover.

The reality star’s comment section was filled with love and support from fans and friends alike.

“Selling Sunset” star Chrishell Stause commented “💗💗💗💗,” while “Dancing with the Stars” alum Cheryl Burke – who is also sober – sent her congratulations to Richards.

Celebrity real estate broker Fredrik Eklund also chimed in, writing, “YOU WILL INSPIRE MANY BY THIS. Proud of you. The sober revolution has started. I have 3 years in October. Our kids will thank us. And our bodies of course. but for now I thank you. ❤️,”

Richard’s daughter Alexia Umansky shared similar excitement for her mother, commenting, “What!!! Omg I am so proud of you!! We love a strong-willed healthy mind, body and soul queen 🧘‍♀️🕉️.”

“Proud of you. 🤗,” added ”RHOBH” co-star Erika Jayne.

On Friday, Jayne shut down reports that Richards and Mauricio, 53, had split on her castmate’s behalf.

“I’m going to let Kyle really explain, but they’re not splitting,” she said to Billboard at the time. “They have had a very hard time. They’ve acknowledged that.”

The former couple released a joint statement on July 3 just hours after reports surfaced that they were separating after 27 years of marriage.

The two shut down any speculation that the split was due to any wrongdoing, and urged their fans to “not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative.”

“However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage,” they wrote. “But we both love and respect each other tremendously.”

Fans also speculated that Richards had been seeing musician friend Morgan Wade, but she has since denied that claim.

“We are very good friends,” she told paparazzi on July 7, confirming to the camera man that the claims are just a rumor.
