Baileys Red Velvet launches in the UK – but it’s only sold at one store

Baileys has just launched a new flavour in the UK.

The Irish cream liqueur has been given a Red Velvet twist.

Bottles are said to be packed with “cupcake” flavouring that makes the tipple taste like it’s “straight out of the bakery”.

It’s likely that many will enjoy the boozy treat at Christmastime.

The drink can be drunk on the rocks, with coffee or in a cocktail.

Some may also want to use the liqueur in the festive bakes to give them an added layer of indulgence.

Red velvet fans can purchase the alcohol from The Bottle Club website.

The retailer is selling 70cls for £17.99, which is a couple of quid more than you’d expect to pay for a standard bottle of Baileys.

It’s likely the booze will fly off shelves this Christmas.

When the Baileys flavour launched in America earlier this year, Brits were disappointed that they couldn’t get their hands on it.

Previously, the Irish cream favourite was given a Scrumptious Salted Caramel flavour.

The drink is made from the distinct Original Irish Cream and blended with a rich caramel and hint of salt.

Baileys describe the drink as being "pure indulgence" and "uncommonly decadent and delicious".

The drinks brand suggests enjoying it on its own over ice, or as an extra-cosy Baileys Salted Caramel hot chocolate with lashings of cream.

And currently, Tesco Clubcard members can pick up bottles of the booze for half the usual price.
