Bargain hunters snap up £120 worth of beauty items from Boots for just £20 'due to glitch'

BOOTS shoppers have been snapping up £120 worth of beauty items for just £20 following an apparent glitch on its website.

The retailer appears to have mistakenly included its Our Beauty Heroes gift set as part of a "three for two" promotion.

The gift sets cost £10 each and contain £40 worth of products.

But instead of paying £30 for three of them, shoppers are finding that their third box is coming up free when they add them to their baskets.

This means customers are paying just £20 for three of the gift sets, which would include £120 worth of products.

It appears Boots has incorrectly included the Our Beauty Heroes set as part of its "three for two" on Elf products.

However, if Boots confirm that this deal was a glitch, the retailer could end up cancelling customer orders and refunding the purchases.

The apparent error appears to have been running for around three hours.

Shoppers have been lapping up the deal, according to bargain website

We’ve asked Boots for clarification and we’ll update this article when we know more.
