B&M is selling mini Galaxy Easter eggs and it’s not even after Christmas yet

B&M has left shoppers bemused by selling chocolate Easter eggs almost five months early – and with one month still go to until Christmas.

Instagram users KevsSnackReviews and InstaFoodieTwins spotted that the discount retailer is already selling Galaxy's new "Enchanted Eggs".

The 80g packets feature mini Galaxy chocolate eggs with crunchy caramel pieces rolled in an edible rose gold powder.

InstaFoodieTwins reports that the sweet treats cost £1 and half a packet contains 206 calories.

But while some shoppers are egg-cited to try the snacks others are gobsmacked that B&M is selling chocolate eggs already when Easter Sunday isn't until April 12, 2020.

One person commented: "Ok I’m just going to put this out there. Why is there Easter stuff out already?!?"

Another wrote: "Ahhh yes Easter the winter holiday when Jesus came from an egg delivered by Santa to the world."

And someone else couldn't believe that it was "Easter already!".

When The Sun checked online we couldn't find any other major retailers or supermarkets selling chocolate Easter eggs for 2020, and we also couldn't find the new Galaxy eggs being sold elsewhere.

The Sun has asked B&M to comment, as well as to confirm the price of the eggs and whether they're in all stores and we'll update this story as soon as we get a response.

If you're in a mood for a bargain, the discounter has launched a massive Black Friday sale one week early.

It's also selling a YARD of Jägermeister including ten mini bottles for £10.
