British Vogue readers have shared snaps of themselves in the ‘wobbly’ mirror on the front of the Duchess of Sussex’s September issue.
Meghan, 37, hand-picked 15 influential women to feature on the front cover of the ‘forces for change’ edition, alongside an empty mirrored square to put readers in the spotlight.
While some were thrilled to ‘technically’ land a cover of British Vogue, other photos shared online show the mirror produced dubious results.
One playful reader even put their plant in the spotlight.
This reader joked: ‘LOL technically I’m on the front cover of #britishvogue because they put a wobbly mirror on the front cover! Makes a change from #katemoss’

Others heaped praise on the magazine, with several hailing it the ‘best issue ever’.
From articles about sustainable fashion to features on £20 ‘gong bathing classes’, the Duchess of Sussex has filled British Vogue with some of her favourite causes and tips.
Skincare expert Sarah Chapman, high-end breathing retreats and some of her favourite ethical designers all get a shout out within the glossy pages.

In her editor’s letter, Meghan said she hopes she has created a magazine of ‘positivity, kindness, humour and inclusivity’.
She claims in the missive that she set out to produce a publication of ‘both substance and levity’ with its editor in chief Edward Enninful, who revealed the duchess thought it would be ‘boastful’ to be the magazine’s cover star herself.
The Duchess also warned that although her guiding hand will be felt on most pages of next month’s edition, it will contain traditional elements like adverts.
She writes in her guest editor’s letter how just a few hours after meeting Enninful she summoned up the nerve to quiz him about taking on the September edition – an important issue as it is published just before the autumn/winter fashion season.
Many readers, including the one who shared this photo, were thrilled with the edition
Some chose not to feature themselves on the front cover and focused on the flat lay instead
