Holby City stars reunite for road trip months after show's axe
Jac Naylor and Sacha Levy were best mates on Holby City – even sharing a house together at one point on the show – and the actors who played them are just as close in real life.
In fact Rosie Marcel and Bob Barrett have recently had a weekend away together – and they stopped off to visit fellow Holby icon Guy Henry, who played steely Swedish surgeon Henrik Hanssen.
Rosie posted a picture on her Instagram of her sitting at a table with Bob and Guy in a shady spot under trees, looking relaxed and clearly enjoying each other’s company.
‘A fun weekend away with Bob visiting Guy and Frank in their beautiful home. Amazing time. Caught up, laughed and drank way too much. My lovely friends,’ Rosie posted.
Another picture shows Rosie and Bob in the car as they get on their way.
The post has had thousands of likes. Holby stars Dawn Steele and Hermione Gulliford (who played Ange Godard and Roxanna MacMillan respectively) are among those commenting, with Dawn saying, ‘Love x’ and Hermione posting three hearts.
A comment from a fan says, ‘I’d have loved to have been sat in that garden, seeing my three fave Holby characters sat enjoying a summer bevvy together 😆’
Although Holby City aired its last episodes in March this year, the show and its stars remain hugely popular and fans haven’t given up hope that one day it might return.
Comments to Rosie’s post reflect this with one saying ‘Need a petition to BBC bosses to bring this great show back,’ and another saying, ‘Miss you all so much, our Tuesday evenings just aren’t the same 😢
Hope you all had a lovely time 😍’
Viewers missing their Holby fix can at least look forward to Bob and Guy appearing on TV together soon in upcoming seven part comedy The Revengelists, which is currently in post production.
