Katie Price is set to begin treatment at the Priory after pleading guilty to driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and driving while unfit to drive through drink at Crawley Magistrates Court on Wednesday 29 September.

The glamour model appeared on television the day before the accident in seemingly good spirits in a discussion where she was joined by her younger sister Sophie.

The sisters appeared on Good Morning Britain to announce happy news that they were launching a baby clothes business venture together.

Her sister is now one of the people picking up the pieces as the family try their best to find the 43 year old the help she needs following the incident that occurred just hours later.

Katie was 11 when her mum Amy and stepdad Paul welcomed Sophie, making a large age gap between the siblings.

However, despite this they remain ‘incredibly close’ despite having previously admitted that they are ‘like chalk and cheese’.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain yesterday, the former glamour model explained: "I was obsessed with her. When my mum had her and she was asleep I'd pinch her to try and wake her up, as an excuse to hold her. I was obsessed."

As they grew up, Sophie idolised her older sister which resulted in her borrowing her clothes and make up.

She exclusively told new mag: Katie: “I did everything with Soph. I loved it when my mum had Soph. I taught her how to ride bikes and drive."

However, Sophie admits that she was targeted by school bullies when they discovered that her older sister was working as a glamour model.

She recalled to new: “She had a hard time at school because of me so I feel sorry for her for that because at the time I didn’t really realise. But she’s had to put up with a lot of rubbish because of me. She’s like my mum. No b***s***.”

Sophie now says that she prefers to keep her sister’s identity a secret from new people who she leaves to find out for themselves.

Sophie shared: "I don't really tell a lot of people – not because there's anything wrong with [her], I'm just quite a private person. People tend to find out themselves, I don't actually say."

Sophie is a history graduate who went on to complete a Masters degree in European history and now works as a press representative for Children in Need.

She has been in a relationship with her partner Harry Brookes for eleven years and in May they welcomed their first son, Albert.

Sophie shared a family statement following Katie's arrest, with the family writing: "As a family we have for some time been concerned about Kate's wellbeing and overall mental health.

"Today our worst fears nearly came true. As a family we have been and will continue to help Kate get the help she needs. We hope that she will realise that she cannot battle her issues alone."
