Jennifer Metcalfe and Greg Lake have just announced they have called time on their nearly eight year relationship.
The Hollyoaks actress, 36, who shares three-year-old son Daye with Greg, 35, posted a statement to Twitter confirming the sad news, adding that they will "remain friends" as they co-parent their child.
The TV stars first met back in late 2012, announcing a few years later that they were expecting their son together with Jennifer speaking to OK! online about how "amazing" motherhood was.
And while Greg, who found fame on Geordie Shore, expressed a desire to have more children, it appears the couple's romance has run its course.
Here's everything you need to know about their relationship history…
When did Jennifer Metcalfe and Greg Lake meet?
The pair began dating in late 2012, after Jennifer's relationship to Dancing On Ice star Sylvain Longchambon ended.
It was reported in January that year that Greg and Jennifer had known each other for a year after bumping into each other at various celebrity parties.
Jen was with professional skater Sylvian for a year, before he left her for his then celebrity ice partner Samia Ghadie. The pair are now married with son Yves.
However Jennifer put the acrimonious split behind her to move on with reality TV star Greg after they were spotted kissing on a night out in Newcastle, and were together seven years before their split.

Moving in together
Jennifer and Greg moved in together in early 2017, finding a place in Newcastle to call home.
It hadn't been possible for the pair to live together properly before that because of work commitments, with Jennifer filming Hollyoaks in Liverpool.
This year the pair had been living together in lockdown, with Greg even sharing a snap of his other half in March cleaning their bathroom while wearing a thong.
Greg shared the snap to his Instagram writing: "Thank you. When you're in isolation and she's OCD."
Jennifer and Greg welcome son
Jennifer announced she was pregnant in February 2017 exclusively to OK! magazine, saying: "No one knew I was pregnant."
She added: "I'm very excited, but it's mixed with feeling nauseous and a bit sleepy! I've not actually been sick, but I've been feeling a bit nauseous. I've been off my food and not quite myself."
The pair welcomed their first baby, a boy called Daye, into the world in June 2017 telling OK! about the complications they faced during labour.
Greg shared at the time: "They said: 'It's a miracle!' It's a miracle when anyone has a baby so we thought they would say that, but the midwife lifted him up and showed us the cord had a knot in it.
"Apparently they occur once in every hundred babies and what usually happens is a stillbirth. If he had tightened it, he wouldn't have got an oxygen – we were so lucky."
Speaking exclusively to OK! magazine Jennifer said marriage and a wedding could be on the cards for her and Greg.
"I think speaking about it takes the romance out of it. I think it's down to the guy, so I'll just leave him to it! But it will happen one day, we see it in our future," the actress said.

When asked about the wedding, she recently revealed to Fabulous magazine: "Oh, yeah! We’ll probably do it like a party and be like: ‘Let’s get married next month' and we’ll text our friends."
And in terms of more children, before the birth of Daye, Greg told OK! magazine: "I think I'd like to have two kids. A boy and girl would be nice. I've got two nephews and I love spending time with them."
Jennifer and Greg announce split
After nearly eight years together Jennifer and Greg both shared a statement announcing that they had ended their relationship during lockdown.
Jennifer, 36, took to social media writing to her thousands of followers: "Greg and I decided to part ways amicably a couple months ago.
"We remain friends and we both will continue to happily co parent Daye and would appreciate privacy during these times. Thank you to everyone who has supported us before, during and after this."
Greg shared a similar statement on his Instagram page.
Jen's Instagram feed is littered with snaps of her family including Greg, with their last photo together on July 12 of a smiling selfie from a day out together, with Greg sharing similar pictures. Previous to that Jen has posted a sweet snap dedicated to Greg on Father's Day.
