How to lose fabric in 10 days?

Kate Hudson rocked a cutout-filled LBD at the Venice Film Festival Saturday, joking on Instagram that the dress was lacking in fabric.

“Before you leave the house, look in the mirror and take one thing off,” she quoted Coco Chanel, before quipping, “I chose fabric….”

In addition to a high slit, her Mônot halter-top dress featured a series of symmetrical cutouts showing off her abs.

Hudson, 42, kept her accessories minimal, teaming the sexy style with a sparkling Crivelli bracelet and clear Manolo Blahnik heels ($695).

The “Music” star’s famous friends were hooked on the look, with Vanessa Bryant, Kelly Ripa, Olivia Munn and Christie Brinkley, among others, dropping fire and heart emojis in the comments section of her post.

Ashley Benson commented, “KAte!!!!!!!!!!!’ What the actual. U look stunning,” while Katie Couric added “Whooooaaaaa.” The star’s brother Oliver Hudson, meanwhile, joked about the risqué look, “I REALLY don’t like this..”

The LBD wasn’t Kate’s only daring dress of the weekend, as she also went braless in a sheer red Valentino gown for the premiere of her movie “Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon” Sunday.

Kate is the latest in a string of celebrities who’ve embraced pelvic cutouts; Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner are among the many other stars who’ve been all over the ovary cutout trend this summer.

The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” star is also in good company when it comes to sporting skin-baring looks from Mônot. Tiffany Haddish made her catwalk debut in the label’s Fall 2021 fashion show in March, while Dua Lipa donned a thong-baring ensemble from the brand in January.
