Kate Middleton just completely switched up her beauty look for her latest appearance and she looks incredible

Despite everything happening with the Royal Family at the moment, it was business as usual for Kate Middleton yesterday.

The 38-year-old joined rower Jasmine Harrison for a video call to mark International Women’s Day, and she looked incredible through the whole chat.

It’s not like we were expecting Kate to turn up in a topknot and some PJs in classic Zoom call style, but we did spot a change to her make-up – and it’s perfect for the sunnier season.

  • Why did Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton row about the flower girl dresses?

Usually a fan of a matte base and neutral tones, the mum-of-three is seen with radiant skin, a punchy shade of blusher, exaggerated highlighter on her cheekbones, and a serious power-brow.

Pink seems to be the running theme of her whole look, as she pairs her peachy make-up with a pair of pink Missoma earrings, £85 here, and a pink pussybow blouse from Boden, £80 here in other shades. The overall effect is incredibly glowy and youthful.

Kate has also given her complexion a faux bronze tint, which is something many of us could benefit from after months spent indoors. We’d guess she’s most likely used a cream bronzer, and taken it around her hairline and down her cheekbones and nose – which also creates a contoured appearance.

Exaggerating her cheekbones even further, Kate has applied a rosy shade of pink blusher to the high points of her cheekbones, which is said to be the most anti-ageing way of applying blush as it gives the skin a lifted appearance.

The true highlight of the look though (pun intended) is her highlighter. Layering it slightly above her blusher line, the glitter-free but radiant formula creates the illusion of sculpted cheekbones.

She’s also given her brows more definition than usual, and mirrors the angled ends of them with her cat-eye eyeshadow. This is also another lifting technique used by models and make-up artists.

We love these texture and shade changes on Kate, and if you fancy copying the look for yourself then these are our top product recommendations to help you get a similar spring-time glow.
