Love Island’s Haris Namani’s life off screen as he’s ‘dumped from villa’
Love Island’s Haris Namani has been dumped from the villa after shocking footage of him having a fight resurfaced.
The 21-year-old boxer has become the second Islander to be booted off the show in a planned savage double dumping filmed last night.
On last night’s episode viewers were given 20 minutes to vote for their favourite male and female islanders.
The results were then revealed to the contestants, with Haris becoming the latest star to leave following David Salako.
His exit comes hours after The Sun reshared a video of him in a street brawl taken on Snapchat from May last year.
In the video, thought to be filmed in his hometown of Donacaster in Yorkshire, the man understood to be Haris punches somebody to the floor while his friend filming shouts "go on Hari".
During his time on the show, Haris was initially interested in Anna-May before recoupling with Olivia.
Boxer Haris previously admitted that he came across ring girl Olivia’s Instagram account before joining the show, prompting Maya Jama to ask if he’s been sliding into her DMs.
So what do we know about Haris before he went on the show?
Haris is a 21-year-old TV salesman from Doncaster.
He regularly shares photographs from incredible holidays to Ibiza and Marbella on Instagram.
In one video, he drives a jet ski around the huge scenic eclipse yacht – the world’s first discovery yacht.
He captioned the post: “I suit this lifestyle, I’ll not stop till it’s a every day ting”.
When he’s not soaking up the sun, Haris shows himself working up a sweat and training for boxing matches, often thanking his fans for support and showing up to cheer him on.
He confessed he wasn’t entirely sure why he was single and that he’d never taken a girl home to meet his mum before.
He told ITV before flying to South Africa for love: “I think this is the show that can help me. It’s the best opportunity for me to find the girl and find the right one. I’ve obviously not found the right one myself.”
He went on to describe himself as ‘very respectful’, adding: “I’m different, I’m a unique guy, the way I act; confident not awkward, especially with the girls.
“Anyone who meets me, I don’t think they have anything bad to say about me. I don’t give them that bad impression to say, ‘Oh I don’t want to speak to him again.”
On the first day in the villa he baffled fans by revealing his biggest turn off when it comes to looking for love is ‘size five feet’.
Taken aback Maya Jama joked that her size six-and-a-half feet make her ‘off limits’, warning him not to be picky down to the girl's shoe size.
