“I have not seen it since a wall came down upstairs between the bathroom and the box room to make a lovely big bathroom and the other half of the bathroom is becoming the stairs up to the loft.
“And downstairs we have had the wall taken out between the kitchen and the diner which I am excited to see what it looks like
“I am going to meet the company today that are doing our panelling. They want to see the space and measure up and talk through some ideas."
She added: “It is so exciting because I have never done up a period property before. Panelling, gorgeous fireplaces, this stuff really, really excites me.”
Lucy walked inside the Edwardian property, and was greeted by a stripped-back staircase and exposed brick walls.
She said: “Okay so I have not been for a while! Oh wow! This is what I am most excited about seeing – this is going to be the kitchen/diner.”
Lucy was in awe of the huge space after a wall had been knocked down to convert it into a gorgeous bright and airy family space.
A beautiful bay window, featuring stained glass, also looks out over the sprawling garden and floods the room with natural light.
The brunette beauty added: “Wow, it looks so much better, so much bigger.”
Lucy also gave a sneak peek of the living area at the front of the house which boasts a stunning traditional fireplace and large bay window.
Sharing inspiration for the living room, Lucy has revealed that she would like panelling on the walls and wooden herringbone flooring.
Taking a look upstairs, Lucy gave a glimpse into the family bathroom renovations after the couple decided to knock through the wall to the box room in order to create an L-shaped space.
The exciting renovations will also feature a staircase up to the loft to provide extra space for the family.
