My friendship group have dropped me – I'm heartbroken | The Sun

DEAR DEIDRE: SINCE I fell out with one of my best friends, the rest of our group have dumped me. I’m heartbroken.

I’m a 32-year-old woman and we’ve all been friends for most of our adult lives.

Around a month ago I had a disagreement with one of my best friends. She is 31.

She had become controlling and self-absorbed and it was ruining our friendship.

I never thought they’d pick sides, but one day I saw a photo online of them all having dinner without me.

I couldn’t understand why I hadn’t been invited, and when I messaged they all ignored me.

Ever since I’ve been left out of all their events and nobody will talk to me.

If you are not getting anywhere with them, then it may be best to accept it and find some better friends.

It is not worth feeling miserable over people who do not have the decency to discuss any issues with you.
