New Bavarian-inspired beer hall to open with 24 taps and exclusive food menu

As coronavirus restrictions are easing in the UK, everyone's loving a drink or two in a pub garden.

So if you're looking for a new place to try in the capital, something cool and exciting is opening in London.

A new Bavarian-inspired beer hall is due to open its doors in a couple of months.

Camden Town Brewery has given its bar in Kentish Town an awesome new makeover.

It will reopen as Camden Beer Hall and it's due to welcome customers in June on Wilkin Street Mews.

The venue will feature both indoor and outdoor seating for those looking to have a nice drink with their mates.

There will be 24 taps available at the bar with varieties freshly brewed on site.

And it includes an exclusive small batch of beers that "can't be found anywhere else in London".

Fortunately drinks aren't the only thing to look forward to.

Organisers have teamed up with chef Theo Randall who has created a menu of dishes and sharing platters to fit the beer hall theme.

Jasper Cuppaidge, the brewery's founder, said: "It made sense to have our great friend and great chef Theo Randall create the menu and look after the kitchen for us, championing fresh ingredients in a way that is the perfect accompaniment to our beer.

"It will be the best beer experience in the city and we can’t wait for beer lovers to see what we’ve been up to when we fling open the doors."

The new beer hall will be three times larger than the original brewery bar.

Bookings for tables and tours will be made available from June 7.
