Piers Morgan has revealed his brand new job today, months after leaving GMB. The outspoken journalist will be joining Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp and Fox News Media as part of a global TV and newspaper deal. How much has he earned throughout his presenting career?

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Piers is worth a staggering £15million.

Starting his career at an early age, the writer joined the South London News as a reporter in 1985.

Just three years later, he started freelancing for The Sun and by 1994, he had moved there full time to write the newspaper’s “Bizarre” column.

The same year, he became editor of the News of the World, where he was personally appointed the role by Rupert Murdoch.

He was 29 and the youngest editor of a national newspaper in 50 years.

He left the News of the World in 1995 and a year later, took over as editor of the Daily Mirror.

Piers was fired in 2004 and in 2005, he took over as owner of the Press Gazette.

The journalist added to his bank balance by appearing on shows such as America’s Got Talent and Britain’s Got Talent as a judge.

He also won the celebrity version of The Apprentice back in 2008.

Piers is also known for presenting his own shows like Piers Morgan’s Life Stories which started airing back in 2009.

More recently, the presenter joined ITV’s Good Morning Britain back in 2015.

At the time, ITV announced that Piers would be joining the programme as a permanent presenter.

He left the show in March of this year following a row over comments he made about the Duchess of Sussex.

It was announced today that the journalist had taken on a new role.

The new role will allow Piers to host the show, which is airing in the UK, US and Australia.

It is said to be launching on the upcoming station talkTV in early 2022.

He will also take on the role of columnist for The Sun and The New York Post.

Speaking about his new role, Piers tweeted: “I’m thrilled to be returning to News Corp which is where I began my media career more than 30 years ago.

“I want my global show to be a fearless forum for lively debate and agenda-setting interviews, and a place that celebrates the right of everyone to have an opinion, and for those opinions to be vigorously examined and challenged.

“I’m going home and we’re going to have some fun.”

In his personal life, the journalist owns a number of homes including two in the UK as well as a home in Beverly Hills.

It was thought that he paid a huge £5million for the American mansion back in 2011.
